Toolkit on Pro-Environmental Youth Engagement in Africa - UNEP
A collective of over 40 young African activists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers created this toolkit to empower youth to lead environmental action. Born from their shared experience of having the ambition to make a difference but lacking the practical "how-to" guidance, they joined forces to adapt a global youth engagement toolkit specifically for the African context. This resource is designed to equip young people across the continent with the knowledge and tools to become effective influencers for pro-environmental change, building upon the foundation of the original ACP MEAs 3 YETI toolkit with the support of UNEP and expert advisors.
Toolkit Focus: Empowers young Africans to lead pro-environmental change by providing practical, actionable strategies for individual, community, and international action.
Features: The toolkit offers a multi-level framework that guides youth from adopting sustainable personal habits, to mobilizing their local communities and accessing green jobs, to engaging with national and international policy, and finally, to leveraging social media for effective environmental communication and awareness.
